La scorsa settimana ho ricevuto due lettere :)

FLEXdori: how put a midori inside a filofax flex

La "Filofax Flex" e il  "Midori travelers notebook"  sono due sistemi flessibili di blocchi molto diversi tra loro, ma che hanno una caratteristica comune, ovvero l'opportunità di inserire al proprio interno molteplici quaderni, ognuno dei quali può essere quindi destinato ad un proprio tema.
Ma mentre nella Filofax Flex i vari blocchi vanno inseriti all'interno delle numerose tasche, nel Midori i quaderni sono tenuti insieme da un elastico posto al centro della copertina.

Quando ho acquistato la Filofax Flex, l'idea era quella di bucare la copertina per poter creare una mia "Midori" con le tasche e i portapenne già incorporati. Ma quando l'ho avuta tra le mani, ero così dispiaciuta all'idea di doverla rompere, che alla fine ho optato per una soluzione meno drastica: la FLEXDORI.

The "Filofax Flex" and "Midori travelers' notebook" are two different systems of notebook, that have a common feature, namely the opportunity to put inside numerous notepads:
in the Filofax Flex the various blocks should be placed within numerous pockets;
in the Midori the notebooks are held together by a rubber band at the center of cover.

When I purchased the Filofax Flex, my idea was to pierce the cover to create my own "Midori" with pockets and pen holders already incorporated. But when I had it in my hands, I didn't want breaking it, so I opted for a less drastic solution: the FLEXDORI.

Per poter inserire l'elastico al centro senza forare la filofax, ho tagliato un foglio di carta lucida delle dimensioni leggermente più piccole della copertina, in modo da poterlo inserire tra le due tasche centrali. Su questo foglio ho quindi inserito l'elastico centrale.

In order to insert the elastic without punching the filofax, I cut a sheet of transparent paper, with the same sizes of the cover, just a little bit smaller to be able to insert it between the two central pockets. On this sheet I then inserted the elastic.


Ho potuto così usare il sistema di elastici tipico del "midori" per poter infilare i fascicoli di carta doppia ideale per il journaling.

I was able to use the system of rubber bands typical of the "midori" in order to insert the refills ideal for journaling. 



Nelle due tasche di sinistra ho poi inserito un quadernino di post it, un quaderno per la lista di cose da fare, e il foglio con l'anello portapenna.

In the pocket on the left side I entered a  notebook for the "to do list", a post-it notebook, and a pen loop.


Ho usato le tasche di destra per inserire una agenda settimanale della filofax, un altro quaderno di post it, un altro foglio con l'anello portapenne, ed infine alcuni stickers.

I used the pockets on the right to put inside the weekly diary, another post-it notebook, a pen loop, and finally some stickers.

Review: Mildliner Highlithers by Zebra

Uno dei miei ultimi acquisti di cui vado più fiera, sono gli evidenziatori della Mildliner. E' vero che sono un pochino più costosi rispetto ai comuni evidenziatori, è anche vero che i loro colori hanno ben poco di comune. Esistono tre varianti di colore (come riporta la scritta in giapponese sulla confezione) :
- Pastello. Sono i più chiari e brillanti, e sono meno stressanti per gli occhi rispetto a quelli fluorescenti.
- Caldi. Sono decisamente i miei preferiti.
- Freddi.

Ogni confezione contiene 5 colori diversi, ed ogni colore presenta due diverse tipologie di punta, una più spessa ed una sottile.

Ho fatto delle prove sulla carta della Filofax e quella della Kikki.k
Potrete notare che nonostante la carta della Kikki.k sia più leggere rispetto a quella della Filofax, i risultati sono comunque abbastanza soddisfacenti.

I'm so proud of my last purchase: the Mildliner Highliters. They are a bit more expensive than the common markers, but their colors are very little "commons". There are three color variants (according to the inscriptions in Japanese on the package):
- Pastel. They are the most clear and brilliant, and are less stressful on the eyes than fluorescent ones.
- Warm. They are definitely my favorite.
- Cold. 
 Each pack contains 5 different colors, and each color has two different types of tip, a thicker and a thinner. I did some tests on paper and that of the Filofax Kikki.k 
You will note that despite the paper of Kikki.k is lighter of the one of Filofax, the results are still quite satisfactory.

Ho fatto un test con altri comuni evidenziatori. Ho inserito del testo con le mie penne preferite:
Pilot frixion nera_ perchè è perfettamente cancellabile;
Pilot Super grip (fine)_perchè tra le penne a sfera, è quella con la punta più sottile, ed ha una linea precisissima.

Già a prima vista si può vedere che mentre i colori più scuri delle altre marche appesantiscono il testo e ne rendono più difficile la lettura, con gli evidenziatori Mildliner il testo invece è messo in risalto.

Dopo aver evidenziato il testo, ho provato anche a cancellare parte delle scritte fatte con la penna Frixion:
con gli evidenziatori Mildliner il testo è andato via facilmente;
con gli altri evidenziatori ho impiegato più tempo, e non sempre con ottimi risultati.

I did a test with other common highlighters. I put the text with my favorite pens: 
Pilot Frixion Black_ because it perfectly erasable;
Pilot Super Grip (fine) _ because between ballpoint pens, it is the one with the tip thinner, and it has a very precise line. 
At first glance you can see that, while the darker colors of the other brands weigh down the text and make more difficult to read them, with the Mildliner highlighters the text is highlighted. 
After highlighting the text, I also tried to delete a part of the writing made ​​with the Frixion pen: 
with the Mildliner highlighters the text has gone away easily; 
with other highlighters I spent more time, and not always with good results.

Oggi colgo l'occasione della partecipazione al contest lanciato dal blog my washi tape, per presentarvi il mio piccolo angolo di paradiso, ovvero il mio "working space". Nonostante la cartoleria sia una delle mie più grandi passioni, lo spazio che le ho potuto dedicare nella mia camera è davvero piccolo. Il che in realtà non è proprio un male, poichè in questo modo ho davvero tutto a portata di mano ^-^

Nuovo file stampabile per voi! Ho una grande difficoltà a reperire nella mia città priva di cartolerie i salvabuchi, e alla fine ho deciso di realizzarli da sola.
Per poterli stampare, occore un foglio adesivo trasparente A4. Una volta ritagliato ed inserito nella vostra pagina, potrete facilmente perforarlo.

La pagina è già impostata per un foglio A4. Per stamparle correttamente:
_dalla finestra FILE > STAMPA.
_dal menù a tendina RIDIMENSIONAMENTO PAGINA, segli la seguente opzione: ADATTA AD AREA DI STAMPA.
_nel menù a tendina COMMENTI E MODULI, scegli l'opzione. DOCUMENTO.

In attesa che riesca a caricarire le immagini della mia nuova filofax, vi posto un piccolo file stampabile. Sono dei deliziosi animaletti di pezza.
Per poterli stampare, vi occorre un foglio adesivo trasparente A4. La pagina è già impostata per un foglio A4. Per stamparle correttamente:

Review: Filofax Orginal monochrome personal

La mia ultima arrivata nella mia piccola collezione: la Filofax Original Monochrome, personal size.
La particolarità di questo modello sta l'accostamento del color nero della copertina e del bottone con il logo, e il color bianco del cinturino e delle cuciture. Come potrete notare dalle foto, le cuciture sono bene realizzate, ed è un vero sollievo essendo così in evidenza.

My latest addition to my: The Filofax Original Monochrome, personal size. The particularity of this model is the combination of the black in the cover and in the button with the logo, and the color white of the strap and the stitching. As you can see from the photos, the seams are well made.

Il cinturino è fatto di pelle spessa 2mm, per cui sembra abbastanza resistente.  Anche la copertina è realizzata con del cuoio molto spesso, 2mm al centro, 4mm in corrispondenza delle due tasche laterali a tutta altezza, ma nonostante lo spessore elevato è molto morbida e flessibile.

The strap is made leather thick 2mm, so it seems durable enough. Even the cover is made of very thick leather, 2mm in the center, 4mm at the two side with the pockets full height, but despite the high thickness is very soft and flexible.

All'interno della copertina, sul lato sinistro, cè un elastico spesso che funge sia da doppio portapenna, sia da porta blocco (lo spazio al centro è di poco meno di 6cm).
Sopra e sotto l'elastico ci sono due tagli verticali, dove è possibile inserire delle carte di credito o biglietti da visita. In basso  c'è impresso il marchio della Filofax.
A destra, oltre alla tasca a tutta altezza, ci sono due tagli orizzontali che consentono si inserire un block notes largo 6,5cm (che comunque trovate già in dotazione).

Inside the cover, on the left side, there is an elastic which acts both as double pen holder, and as a blocknotes holder (the space at the center is less than 6cm).
Above and below the rubber band there are two vertical cuts, where you can enter credit or business cards. The bottom is stamped with the mark of the Filofax.
To the right, in addition to pocket full height, there are two horizontal cuts that allow you to insert a note pad 6.5 cm wide (which are found already supplied).

Review: filofax patent duckegg

La famiglia delle pocket si allarga!! Vi presento quella che ho ribattezzato "Adrift". Si tratta del modello uscito da pochi mesi, ovvero la Patent colore "Duckegg".

oppure sul sito italiano, mi hanno assicurato che nella prossima settimana avrebbero rifatto un nuovo rifornimento:

Il colore è molto particolare, è un celeste molto desaturizzato, ed esternamente presenta una verniciatura lucida molto liscia e morbida al tatto. L'agenda è in  ecopelle, mentre internamente è fatta di poliestere.

My family of filofax pocket  widens! I present to you what I have dubbed "Adrift". This is the model Patent color "Duckegg."

The color is very special, it is a heavenly desaturated, and externally it has a gloss finish very smooth and soft to the touch.
The planner is made of PU with a gloss patent finish.

L' apertura è tramite un laccio con un bottone a clip, che è molto più sottile rispetto a quello che si ha nel modello "metropol" o nella "saffiano".

The opening is through a string with a clip button, which is much thinner than the one on the model "metropol" or in "saffiano".

L'anello portapenne si trova a sinistra, ed è realizzato con una fascia elastica, ed è un ottimo sistema perchè così è possibile inserire penne anche molto doppie, come la mia amata Pilot Coleto Hi-Tech.

A sinistra della copertina ci sono due tasche delle dimensioni di una carta di credito, più una ad ala.

The pen loop is on the left side, and it is made with an elastic band, and is a great system because you can put inside large pens, like my Pilot Coleto Hi-Tech.
On the left of the cover there are two pockets for credit card and a flat one.

A destra invece c'è una sorta di tasca per block notes, che è cucita solo lateralmente, per cui il block notes può uscire dal basso. Il blocknotes non è incluso.

On the right side there is a pocket for blocknotes, , which is laced only on the side, so the notebook can get out from the bottom. The blocknotes is not included.

Sebbene l'agenda mi piace moltissimo, presenta però un paio di difetti.
Il cinturino è sottile, e  mi sembra molto delicato. Non mi piace neanche come lo hanno rivestito dal lato interno. Il paragone con la Filofax BCC.

Although I like this planner very much, it has a couple of flaws.
The strap is thin, and it seems very delicate. I don't like how it's covered inside. The comparison with the Filofax BCC.



Un altro difetto, anche  se non saprei dire se appartiene solo al mio modello o se è proprio un difetto presente su tutte le patent, è la fodera interna della agenda. Forse sono io che sono pignola, ma sembra che non aderisca perfettamente, per cui è tutta arricciata. Sotto potete vedere la differenza con l'interno della Filofax BCC che ho usato negli ultimi mesi.

Another flaw, although I can't say if it belongs only to my model or if it is a defect present on all the patent, it is the inner lining of the planner. Maybe I'm too finicky, but it seems to not fit perfectly. Below you can see the difference with the interior of the BCC Filofax that I have used in recent months.

filofax Duckegg setup and Dividers for filofax

La mia dolce Adrift prende forma.
La prima sezione è per le info personali, troppo personali per fotografarla :)
La seconda sezione è per la vista mensile:
a sinistra c'e il calendario mensile;
a destra c'è la pagina su cui specifico gli eventi mensili :)

La seconda sessione è per la vista settimanale. Ho scelto anche in questo caso la vista su 1 pagina, perchè spesso mi capitava di non aver abbastanza spazio per scrivere in una giorno, mentre magari in un altro giorno la pagina risulta essere pressocchè vuota. In questo modo invece posso usare la seconda facciata in maniera più libera:
note aggiuntive,
appunti,
lliste,
journaling.

Anche queste pagine saranno presto acquistabili sul mio negozio :)

the second section is the weekly view. I prefer the setup 1 week on 1 page because often I didn't have enough space to write in a day, while perhaps in another day the page appears to be the almost empty. In this way, instead I use the second side more freely:
additional notes,
lists,
journaling.

Anche la mia Original ha dei divisori nuovi, ma quando ho impostato la stampante, ho dimenticato di adattare la pagine all'area di stampa, per cui sono usciti più piccoli :(
Non fate il mio stesso errore. Ecco le istruzioni per stamparle correttamente:

Also the Original has some new dividers, but i printed them wrongly, so they are smaller. Don't make my mistake. Here the instructions to print them correctly:

Oggi inauguro una nuova rubrica, "Kawaii stationery", per raccontarvi attraverso immagini una mia grande ossessione, la cartoleria giapponese e coreana. Non potevo non iniziare allora con uno dei miei personaggi giapponesi preferiti: Sentimental circus!
La confezione di plastica glitterata contiene al suo interno 8 timbri molto piccini, delle dimensioni ideali per la filofax, ed un tampone per inchiostri rosa fluo. Sebbene il colore sia molto bello, vi sconsiglio di usarlo per la vostra agenda, perchè purtroppo è molto umido e oltrepassa il foglio. Nell'ultima foto potrete trovare un test sulla pagina filofax. Io per questo motivo preferisco usare il tampone "prima marketing_Ingvild Bolme"

Anche se non si tratta propriamente di cancelleria, vorrei mostrarvi uno dei miei ultimi acquisti dal Giappone. Che cosa sono e a cosa servono? Si tratta essenzialmente di anellini di silicone con sopra la faccia di Kiiroitori, il pulcino del cartone Rilakkuma, ed sono stati creati per aiutare a girare le pagine, perchè il materiale è leggermente aderente alle superfici. Questi giapponesi ne sanno una in più del diavolo!
